I just found this...gotta love technology. Bright sent me some Bright-USA stuff as usual about the Lotus Flower and overcoming the odds. It came up because we were choppin' it up a bit, and I asked her for her myspace page. Turns out her page had the word lotus in it. The wierd thing is I was researching that flower the week before because I'm wierd like that...Peep the convo.

well, it's a prominent symbol in buddhism & it represents cause and effect in nature. It is the only flower that seeds & blooms at the same time and it blooms out of swamps which is also quite symbolic of creating extreme beauty out of any life/karma.
